Гандбол

Гандбол (Handball) is a team sport in which two teams, typically consisting of seven players each, aim to score goals by throwing a ball into the opposing team’s net. The game is played on a rectangular court, with a goal at each end, and the objective is to outscore the opposing team within a set duration of play, usually 60 minutes divided into two halves. Players can use any part of their body above the knee to touch the ball, and they can run while dribbling or passing it.

Handball combines elements of basketball and soccer, emphasizing speed, teamwork, and agility. It is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and is popular worldwide, especially in Europe. The sport also has variations, such as beach handball, played on sand, and mini handball for younger players. Handball is played both indoors and outdoors, with indoor handball being the more commonly recognized format.
